Who is behind Dunstan Photography?

Kia Ora! I'm Cam, or "Cam the photo man." I'm the 18-year-old founder & owner of Dunstan Photography, a portrait & event photography-based company. Born & raised in Christchurch, New Zealand, I have been pursuing a career as a photographer since October 2019 & as an entrepreneur since July 2021.

What types of photography does Dunstan Photography offer, & how much does it cost? 

Dunstan Photography is a portrait & event photography business with photoshoots starting at $75 an hour. I cover music, corporate & personal celebrations, as well as singular, couple, or group portraits for commercial or personal use.

Why should you choose Dunstan Photography over another photography company? 

One of the key concepts I had when starting Dunstan Photography was to aim towards young people & events where the focus was on the youth. I understand that having a professional photographer who is both relatable, professional, & affordable can make a big difference in the stress & anxiety that come with interacting with a photographer, & I promise to deliver high-quality services & results that won't break the bank while getting results relevant to having a photographer in a different age category.

What inspired you to start your own business?

“You have to be burning with an idea, problem, or wrong that you want to right. If you're not passionate enough from the start, you'll never stick it out.” Steve Jobs. Dunstan Photography stems from my insecurity about being comparable to somebody else. I'm passionate about sticking out rather than sticking in & using my talent, not just as a business, but as another young adult to capture & celebrate the memories of individuals my age around me. This is what I believe was the inspiration for Dunstan Photography today.

Invoicing, cancellations, & rescheduling.

A quote is delivered & agreed upon before the photoshoot occurs, & an invoice will be sent to the recipient's email address the following business day through Squarespace. If a problem occurs during payment, please notify office@dunstanphotography.com & deposit the total amount into the ANZ account below. Free cancellation & rescheduling until 12 hours before the photoshoot; otherwise, a 25% deduction fee will be deducted from the original quote amount.
